Garden Glow at the Green Room
Garden Glow at the Green Room Uptown — January 27
Garden Glow brought a solid Minneapolis punk/alternative vibe to New Band Night at the Green Room in Uptown on January 27, and they made the most of the room. The set felt confident and well-paced, with energy that stayed consistent without tipping into chaos.
Fronted by Matt Mason on guitar and vocals, the band leaned on strong vocals and well-written songs that landed easily with the crowd. Nothing felt forced—just a band settling into their sound and letting it carry the night.
The Green Room continues to be one of those venues that gets it right. The lighting was fantastic, the volume was spot on, and even with the balcony officially closed, the staff was generous enough to allow access for a different perspective of the space—always appreciated from a photographer’s standpoint.
The attached gallery captures Garden Glow in their element: good songs, good light, and a room that worked in everyone’s favor.
